Skills2Stars Foundation exists to equip young people with practical, creative, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
We believe education and practical skills work together.
While schools prepare young people academically, we help them discover their creativity, confidence, leadership, and entrepreneurial potential.
Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, community partnerships, and real-world experiences, we introduce young people to opportunities they may never have imagined.

Meet Sophia
Founder & Executive Director
"A Skill Changed My Life."
Growing up, I didn't know that the practical skills I was learning would one day carry me across industries and continents.
Today, I am an award-winning journalist, photographer, entrepreneur, filmmaker, mentor, and community leader. Every opportunity I've had—from television production to journalism in Canada, photography, entrepreneurship, and public speaking—has been built on one foundation: my skills.
When I immigrated to Canada, it wasn't just my education that helped me rebuild my life. It was the skills I had spent years developing.
That realization inspired me to ask one question:
What if every young person had the opportunity to discover one practical skill before adulthood?
That question became Skills2Stars Foundation.
We are building a future where every child has the opportunity to discover their gifts, believe in themselves, and develop practical skills that can become careers, businesses, or lifelong passions.
